Our goal at Professional Pet Styling is to provide the highest quality grooming in the area. This is supported by a number of factors. One of which, is that all pets are serviced one-on-one. The entire time your pet is in our care, they are our only focus. The only exception to this would be sibling pets, which are serviced at the same time and kept together. Another reason to choose us- our owner is certified in dog and cat First Aid and CPR, and all employees regularly complete continued education courses. We provide support for our groomers to continue to grow and perfect their craft.
We believe all pets deserve to be groomed in a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Our staff have experience with difficult pets, and will work with you (the pet parent) on what can be done to best accomodate your pets needs while keeping them and ourselves safe. While we may not be able to complete every service on every pet, we will be transparent with you about what is possible and create a sustainable plan for moving forward.
Dogs and cats MUST be up to date on their Rabies vaccine to recieve ANY service in our facility. This is legally required by the Virginia Department of Health. We need proof of this vaccine before we can take your pet into our care. We will accept any documentation from your veterinarian that lists the date the vaccine was given AND expires.
Our prices are set to reflect the amount of time, effort, and education that goes into every service we provide. However, we acknowledge the incredible dedication and value of the members of our community who go above and beyond for their fellow neighbor. We are pleased to offer $5 off all services for active and/or retired first responders, military service members, and preK-12 teachers. This includes police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, school teachers, veterans, active duty military, and military reserve members. Please bring identification that reflects your status if you fall into one of these categories, and from the bottoms of our hearts, thank you for your service.
Yes! Our salon owner Sarah has experience with small mammals, in both her professional and personal life. These pets have different grooming needs than cats or dogs, so please contact us for details on what we can provide for your pet.
